Deerfield Beach Rules
Are you tired of tolerating the painfully cold snow and want to feel the sun's rays warm your skin? On days when three comforters are not enough to keep you warm, all you want is to celebrate summer weather along a beach like those on the shorelines of Deerfield, Florida.
You can start planning ahead now, but it would be wise to first get an idea about the beach's rules and regulations. You may bring your car with you without knowing that it is not allowed in the resort. To avoid such frustrations, here are rules you have to remember:
Do not go farther than 50 yards from the shoreline. When you go beyond that point, you are putting yourself in a life-threatening situation. Still, the 50-yard limit does not guarantee safety. If you want to swim within the 50-yard limit, go to an area where a lifeguard can easily spot you.
Since Deerfield Beach is home to wildlife, you are not allowed to feed the animals. This is one of the most violated beach rules. Do not feed even the birds or you will be penalized for your violation.
Never use any container made of glass. Deerfield Beach is strict about this rule because a lot of tourists had complained about injuries caused by broken glass scattered on the resorts' premises.
Unlike in other places, you are not allowed to scuba dive, ride on a jet ski, kayak, boat or windsurf on the public beaches of Deerfield Beach. These activities are allowed only in areas authorized by the City Commission of Deerfield, Florida.
Upon reaching Deerfield Beach, you will notice that there are hammocks, bicycles and beach chairs that beautify the place. These are landscape materials that you are not allowed to affix to trees or plants along the beach.
Other beach rules order you not to do the following: litter, stand on rocks, leave cigarette butts behind, swim in surfing areas, or bring animals inside the resort. Now that you know the rules, you can leave behind the snow and enjoy the heat!
